LexelaneTerms of service
These terms govern the Lexelane website, prepaid balance, and text model API. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the acceptable-use policy.
Accounts and authority
You must be legally able to enter an agreement and provide accurate account information. If you use the service for an organization, you must be authorized to act for it. Keep your account and credentials secure, and notify support if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for requests made with your credentials.
API access and model behavior
Model availability, supported protocols, context limits, and rates are shown in the service. Coming-soon entries are informational, not live offers. AI outputs may be incomplete or incorrect; evaluate them before use. No model output is a substitute for professional advice, and model selection does not imply an endorsement or affiliation by the model developer.
Prepaid credit and charges
Balances are denominated in USD and are usable for Lexelane API services, not cash deposits or transferable funds. Top-ups start at $5. Confirmed principal payments credit the same USD amount; any checkout tax is shown separately. Requests reserve a conservative budget and settle with the recorded usage. If final usage cannot be established after forwarding, a provisional charge may reach the disclosed reservation ceiling and will be eligible for review and correction.
Limits, changes, and availability
Account and key budgets, request rates, concurrency, and token limits apply. Prices can change for future requests; in-flight requests retain their captured rates. We may restrict access to protect the service, comply with law, or investigate payment and security issues. The standard service does not include a contractual uptime guarantee unless separately agreed.
Your content and permitted use
You retain the rights you have in submitted content and are responsible for its legality. Grant only the processing rights necessary to fulfill your request. Do not use the service for prohibited conduct, credential theft, fraud, abuse, or rights violations. Third-party model terms and applicable legal restrictions remain relevant.
Refunds and termination
Refund requests are handled under the refund policy. Used API services are generally not refundable unless billed incorrectly or required by law. You may stop using the service and revoke credentials at any time. Outstanding usage and legally retained transaction records survive account closure.
Liability and dispute resolution
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees of suitability or error-free output. We do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded. These terms follow the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without overriding mandatory protections applicable to you. Contact support first to seek a practical resolution to a dispute.
